What we make

My8bitAnimal sells custom, made-to-order merchandise featuring artwork created from photos you provide. Because every item is created specifically for you, these terms differ from an ordinary store's.

Ordering and payment

Orders are placed through our Etsy listing. Etsy collects your payment and handles the transaction under Etsy's own terms; we never see or store your card details.

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve your artwork. After approval, custom items are final sale, except for defects or our error (see the refund policy).

Approving your artwork

After you order, you send us a clear photo of your pet in an Etsy message. We create your artwork from that photo and send you a preview. Nothing is printed until you approve it, and you can ask for changes when you review the preview.

When you approve, you confirm the artwork is correct and authorize production. Your approval is recorded.

Your photo and the artwork

By sending us a photo you confirm you have the right to share it, and you grant us a license to use it solely to create your artwork and fulfill your order. We do not use your photo for anything else without a separate, explicit opt-in.

Shipping

Orders ship with tracking after you approve the artwork. Risk of loss passes on delivery as confirmed by the carrier's tracking. If an item arrives damaged, contact us and we will make it right.

Liability

Pet tags are an identification aid, not a safety device. Check the tag's attachment regularly. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
